Tech Tip : In the Event of a Short Circuit, a Fusible Link will become Extremely Hot and Smoke. Although this is Normal, it can be Dangerous. Make Sure that the Fusible Links are Mounted Outside the Passenger's Compartment and away from anything Flammable.

(Including, but not Limited to, Paint, Plastics, Hoses and other Wires.)

Although Race Cars without Interiors may be an Exception to this Rule, the Smoke could still Scare the Crap out of the Driver, which in itself, could be Dangerous.
